Tintswalo Atlantic is truly a special place. The location is breathtaking, built right into the cliffs with the most beautiful, uninterrupted views of the coast and Hout Bay. We adored our room; it was so spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with vibrant colors and unique art. Waking up and seeing the ocean right from the bed (and even from the bathtub!) was an unforgettable experience. The interior design of the main lodge is also stunning, with so many cozy and elegant areas to relax. The service was fantastic, and the food was simply flawless. Our breakfast (like the one in the photo) was delicious, and the multi-course dinner was immaculate from start to finish. We loved dining in the beautiful restaurant while watching the waves crash outside. We cannot wait to come back!
Possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights at the beginning of our honeymoon and we can’t have asked for a better experience. Room was massive, the views spectacular, the food and service are all exquisite. Throughly recommend.
We really enjoyed staying here as part of our 10 days trip in Cape Town and it is easily the best place. We have been in Cape Town from the view to the surface and food was really delicious. It is truly a a magical lodge.
Dining at Tintswalo was nothing short of exceptional. The food was absolutely amazing – every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with fresh, vibrant flavours, and clearly crafted with care and creativity. From the first bite to the last, it was a true culinary journey that was well worth the experience. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, making it the perfect setting for an indulgent meal. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Just arrived for a short stay. Its really our second visit in 10 years. The lodge is really amazing . Top class. In addition we found that the restaurant was now run independently from the hotel . Food is magnificent for the people visiting the restaurant , however , the residents get the same menu every day and I suggest that there should be alternate menus for residents . It can get boring . Breakfasts are good . Not enough variety. Same old yoghurt, croissant, muesli , tiny fruit platter . No , for this price residents deserve better. Accommodation and location is stunning . Staff are wonderful
